Section / 02 What we do

DM3 has been deployed inside federal facilities, hospitals, and campuses for nearly two decades

Defentect Group, Inc. is a Delaware corporation founded in January 2000. Headquartered in Norfolk, Connecticut, the company designs and licenses the platform that physical security operators use to detect, verify, and respond to incidents inside federal facilities, hospitals, university campuses, and critical-infrastructure operations.

DM3 is the company's core event-management and notification system. Originally engineered for federal CBRNE detection, DM3 has been operating in federal facilities since 2000 and integrates with more than 450 sensor and device protocols across video, access control, environmental, and CBRNE domains.

In April 2026, Defentect closed two strategic licenses that complete the platform: the exclusive North America license for SmartBoitier (Blue Connect Solutions, Paris) and worldwide rights to Kyvoo Assist (Kyvoo, Inc.). DM3 detects, SmartBoitier unifies fragmented infrastructure, and Kyvoo Assist verifies AI conclusions before alerts are dispatched.
